Anna Sakin

I currently live in Missouri City, Texas, and for 18 years, I have been playing the euphonium/baritone. I enjoy teaching low-brass instruments. I was a member of the Longhorn Band and am currently a member of the Longhorn Alumni Band. I recently completed a PhD in English, but I have continued to play and teach during my graduate career.

Phillip Spiller

I teach percussion, brass, and woodwind, and it is a joy to watch my students grow and develop musically. I started taking music lessons in Houston, Texas when I was fifteen years old. My favorite composers are Beethoven, Haydn, and Mozart, however, I love to pay Gospel, R&B, and Jazz music. I relax by watching movies and walking in the park with my family.

Gloria Martinez

I started taking music lessons when I was eleven years old. I lived in Crosby, Texas, and loved playing the piano. Although classical music is my preference, romantic and jazz compositions are very dear to my heart. My favorite composers are Stravinsky, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, and Mozart. When I am not teaching, I relax by attending broadway shows, operas, and ball.
